OUR 2008 EXHIBITION IS OVER.
AND IT WAS A FANTASTICALLY SUCCESSFUL EVENT.
The reports, Photo's and comments will be available in a few weeks time.

Our 'O' gauge group are having an 'OPEN DAY' soon

The Alsager Railway Association is a very active model railway club based here in Alsager, (near Crewe), Cheshire.

There are predominantly five modelling groups, catering for the three main model railway gauges of N gauge, 00 gauge and 0 gauge, and the more unusual EM gauge and Z gauge layouts.

Our smallest gauge layout 6' x 5' in the 1:220 ratio scale of 'Z' gauge.

The next is our large 24' x 4' -  'N' gauge layout.

Our '00' gauge is a 24' x 10' centre operated layout.

Our junior members are also currently building a 12' x 4' - '00' gauge layout.

Next we have a 24' x 2'6" - 'EM' end to end layout.

And finally our '0' gauge is a huge 41' x 15' centre operated layout.

(Take a look at the CLUB LAYOUTS for more details.)

Our regular meeting night is Fridays, from around 7:15 pm until around 10:30,but members can also come during other evenings if they wish, and some of our retired members even come during the days as well.

We have approximately 60 members, and have a very active junior membership that have their own exhibition quality 'EM' gauge layout for their own use and enjoyment (currently being updated) and are currently building their very own '00' gauge layout.

Our club room is large enough to house all six model railway layouts, and a project to extend the club room is has now been completed, which has greatly enhanced the clubs facilities.

Refreshments are available (including a selection of confectionary)
More details can be found on our About Us page.
