PICTURE 1 TEXT FILE
Each picture can have a text file that can be produced
on your computer, this can then be emailed to the webmaster and
it will then be embedded onto your member layout website along with a photo or diagram, if you are 'technical' about the
production of the photo and know how to use any image editing
software, your photo needs to be cropped and converted to a .jpg
file at a size of 355 pixels wide by 120 pixels high, this will
then fit in the picture allocation window easily.

PICTURE 2 TEXT FILE
As each picture can have an unspecified amount of text
associated with it, it is probably a good idea to limit the
content to a suitable amount that the average person would be
interested in reading, so please be aware of the textual content
for each of your pictures. |

PICTURE 3 TEXT FILE
Although this section currently contains general photos
of various layouts, and the main heading is defined as being
‘members layouts’ it does not have to be limited to your
layouts, it can be ANYTHING that you wish to display, write
about, etc. rolling stock, engines, buildings etc..

PICTURE 4 TEXT FILE
Again, Although your area appears to be limited to 10
pictures with associated text, this is NOT the case, we decided
to start with a limit of 10, but these can be added to as
required, if you would like more area, just contact the
webmaster, there is virtually no limit.

PICTURE 5 TEXT FILE
A good idea for one of these area’s (to create over a
period of time)
would be a ‘how to’ set of data, that would give details and
instructions, and pictures of how to do some model related
operation, like soldering, building a tree, making some scenery
etc..

PICTURE 6 TEXT FILE
Many members may wish to do their own pictures from
their digital camera’s, and create their own text content etc,
these members may also have internet service providers that have
some webspace available to them, this can be ‘linked’ to this
section if they wish.

PICTURE 7 TEXT FILE
‘Linking’ from your club’s layouts page to your own
webspace would give you a whole area of your own, with its own
content that you can change as often as you wish, and with whatever you wish,
without the need to send it via the webmaster.

PICTURE 8 TEXT FILE
If you are a member that has your very own personal website,
and would prefer to keep it divorced from the club site, but
still be able to allow visitors to go to your website, this is
also not a problem, as we are able to ‘cross link’ to your
website from the club website.

PICTURE 9 TEXT FILE
Many of the members will not have access to a digital
camera, but would still like to have some photos on their member
layout area, this can be arranged, just speak with the webmaster
for further details.

Don’t forget, this website belongs to YOU, the members,
its success or potential interest is governed by its content,
that is where YOU come in, without interesting content, you can’t
expect visitors to return and re-visit and have an interest. ….
