Alsager Railway Association is a very active Model Railway Club based HERE in Alsager, near Crewe, Cheshire. Post Code: ST7 2DT
There are currently five modelling groups, catering for the three main gauges: N Gauge, 00 Gauge and O Gauge plus the most unusual Z Gauge scale. We have a beginners' group specifically for learning the various aspects of the hobby for all ages and skill levels. There are approximately 96 members, including a junior membership.

At New Mills & District Railway Modellers (NMDRM) exhibition, held over the weekend of
15th & 16th February 2025, at Chapel-en-le-Frith Leisure Centre, our team were delighted to receive not one, but two awards for our Fredstone Lane N Gauge club layout.
The team, Christian Hancock, Chris McCready, John Cox, Brian Guildford and David Best are seen with the two shields awarded for
Best in Show according to Public vote, and
Best Visiting Layout, as voted for by NMDRM Members
